Isadora: Riding in a ring sling is her favorite activity, so long as it helps to fulfill her quota of 20 hours of touching Mama time each day.
I have decided to join in the 52 portraits project, started by Jodi. Realizing I already take weekly photos of Isadora for Dear Izzy, I was initially going to opt out, but the more I saw everyone posting their own the more I wanted to join in as well, so for this project I will aim to capture Isadora during ordinary day to day moments as an alternative to her weekly posed-in-the-chair photos, although I sure do love those as well. Also, this is also an attempt for me to pick up my beloved SLR now and then rather than my camera phone.

Those eyes, beautiful!
ReplyDeletecute cute cute. I keep wanting to take a photo a day in relatively the same position of both of my girls so I can animate them to see how much they change in a year. I haven't done it yet though, maybe tomorrow.
ReplyDeletesuch a pretty little girl! i think i'm going to start doing these too, as an effort to start blogging more again.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to carrying my little in the sling soon! that was one of my favourite parts of when Riley was a baby :) that green really suits Isadora!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Izzy's too funny with her touching mama time quota! I think this is a great idea! Plus, now that your a mom it's acceptable to take a bazillion pictures of your baby now, so whether camera phone or DSLR: bring it on! :)
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how your project develops! And, of course, more cute pictures of Izzy are always a good thing! :)
ReplyDeleteshe is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog title- the contrast between berries and graphite and the rich colour of each! It's all kind of perfect.
xo em
Glad to see you join in on this project! It will be fun and a great way to keep things simple. :)
ReplyDeleteLove her and those big eyes so much. :)
ReplyDeleteThat would be really neat, but I can't blame you for not getting around to it yet! It's hard enough for me to get one a week with one kid, I can't imagine one a day with two! :)
ReplyDeleteYesss!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the sling and really wish I had it from the get-go, but at least I'll know for the next time. Izzy loves it so much. And hooray for another little one to sling soon!
ReplyDeleteha, she definitely is! And she is NOT happy when that quota is not filled. Oh, and the pictures? That won't be a problem, I can't seem to stop myself! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteThank so much. I'm looking forward to doing this. The real payoff is that I will have plenty of decent pictures of Izzy to put in an album at the end of the year. I mean, I take a million anyway, but hopefully this will have me picking up one of my "real" cameras more.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Em. I hope to have a pretty header one day to represent things a bit more, but you know, new baby and all. :)
ReplyDeleteYes! I agree and love that I joined. I felt like the kid that was standing on the sidelines at recess by not doing it, so, you know, figured I might as well join. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cutie!!! I love that you are working for 20 hours of touching! My three have never been far from arms and have to say it has made for some amazing little people! Glad you are joining the project! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Izzy won't settle for anything less than those 20 hours! :) I'm glad to know you kept your own kids close with such amazing results. There really can never be too much love.
