Isadora: Her little nails grow more quickly than I can keep up with, leaving little scratches on her face when I don't trim them down fast enough.
Yesterday I mentioned to E that we really had not had a good fat snow this year and that I supposed we wouldn't be having one, yet a few short hours later he called me to the window and the inches were quickly accumulating. Today, we ventured out for groceries and enjoyed the emptier than usual aisles while others prepared to take in a football game that we thought happened last Sunday, followed by the most delicious and affordable falafel at a new place close to home. Not a bad weekend.

Oh those cheeks, love them!!! Sounds like a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love simple weekends of snow & good food. Yours sounds like it was lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhen she smiles really big I can see some dimples hiding out under those cheeks I think. I guess only time will tell. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a pretty good one. I could do without the snow, but you know, it's winter and all so I try to embrace it. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is so gorgeous! I love her little hat! Baby nails are the worst!!
ReplyDeleteHi new reader and follower, so glad to have found your lovely blog! Your daughter is adorable and those cheeks! And your right baby nails really are the worst, I would always feels so bad when my daughter scratched herself before I could trim them.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Aren't those nails crazy? I feel like they grow an inch a minute.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't it the case that you trim them only to find out they are already scratching length again almost immediately? So wild. And now she's at the point of wanting to grasp handfuls of her own skin and everyone else's, so they are more dangerous than ever.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming by, it's nice to meet you! :)
